First, to support my claims that the media doesn’t lean towards pro-veteran, two more veterans committed suicide in January. Now, you should be saying: But what happened to the 22 per day? Oh, that’s still happening, but the two mentioned for January were National Guardsman and now suicide is becoming more rampant within the active duty, reserve and guardsman sections. This is a travesty, but one of the articles listed below mentions the 2 guardsman and is mentioning a U.S. Senator (Boozman).
Why would Boozman be mentioned? I am going to lean towards a damage-control move to get ahead of constituents finding out about these 2 guardsman and asking themselves if he had done ANYTHING for veterans up to this point in his term? Also, election season is fast approaching. I’m hoping that is igniting a flame inside your brain at this point, to make the connection between events that are occurring and the sudden ‘care’ interest of politicians. If not, go back to sleep…
